This exciting, full contact, high energy sport follows typical ice hockey rules with the exception of equipment. Players use specially designed sleds that sit atop two skate blades and use two sticks with metal pics on the ends to propel themselves.
The San Diego Ducks Adult Sled Hockey Teams consist of disabled and able-bodied athletes ages 14 and older, including active duty military and veterans, who play year-round with two seasons: Winter (September – April) and Summer (May – August). With 2 adult sled hockey teams, recreational house and competitive travel, we have a team to meet your therapeutic and competitive needs. Join our club to try sled hockey for FREE, play for fun, or compete nationally!
